About

Located in southern Mimizan, Lespecier beach is the wildest beach in town. You are sure to be captivated by the long expanses of fine sand contrasted against the blue shades of the ocean. To reach the beach you must first walk ten minutes on the trail that starts at the car park to cross the dune. This beach is equipped with public toilets and is accessible for those with reduced mobility. Available on site: a picnic area, playground, surf school and restaurant on the beach.

Not to be missed:

Take a walk on the incredible “Etang de la Mailloueyre” discovery trail located right nearby. This hike will take you through a forest with unusual trees, a wild dune and a mysterious pond.
