About
Labenne Océan beach is a beautiful large sandy beach that stretches for several kilometres, but only the central part is lifeguarded during the summer for swimmers. You can reach the central beach directly via Avenue de la Plage. You will find a large free parking area and some shops and seasonal restaurants. The beach offers showers, toilets and a lifeguard station. A playground is also available on the esplanade overlooking the ocean.
Not to be missed:
Take the walking trails along Labenne dune for a magnificent view of the dunes and Capbreton port to the north (you will see the bell tower of Sainte-Thérèse chapel) and the bay, Basque Coast and Pyrenees to the south.
